Clara GriceOn the 22nd of November, The Resolute Group attended the Women in Rail 10-year anniversary quiz. As a last get together before the new year, it was lovely to see so many people from the industry.
Women in Rail was created in 2012 with the aims of improving diversity in the UK Rail sector by providing networking opportunities for women in the industry and encouraging young people to pursue a career in rail. At The Resolute Group, we encourage diversity within the industry, and we greatly support the mission of Women in Rail.
We were up against tough competition, but as a team we came second (with just one point off coming first), and we even won the best quiz name – who knew ‘Off the rails’ would be such a success?
With over 60 attendees, it was a great success and so amazing to see the support from men and women at all stages of their rail careers supporting the cause.
We look forward to seeing what events Women in Rail will be hosting in the new year.
